Each week Amanda [Running with Spoons] hosts Thinking Out Loud Thursday. A chance for us to do some brain-dump blogging. And to hang out with fun people.

GUYS.  Before we even get started we must first give Amanda (our lovely host!) a huge high five because today is…drum roll…her 100th Thinking Out Loud post! Whooooa!!! 🙂 HAPPY 100, AMANDA! 🙂 🙂

Also, in need of Celebration is the State of North Carolina.  For not being an embarrassment for two seconds.  We won’t dwell on the fact that it wasn’t really their choice.  Let them have two ounces of kindness.  IMG_20141010_221410#LoveWins

Speaking of more exciting news.  This week I was reaching in the way back back of the freezer and found…CHRISTMAS COOKIE DOUGH! Now…a normal person would have probably … baked cookies … but that seemed like a ton of work.  I decided to celebrate the fact that vegan cookies don’t have eggs…and just eat all of the cookie dough.  #BestDecisionEver IMG_20141012_160137You may notice in the picture above I’m wearing my workout pants.  Yeaaaah.  So it has been raining every single day for the past 7 days, so walking to work has not really been happening.  On Sunday I finally decided it is time to use my garage space more efficiently, and I set up a new workout area for doing my workout DVDs.  Best part?  No moving the cars outside to workout.  < It’s the little things.  🙂 IMG_20141012_153029So even though I haven’t been able to walk to work this week, I’ve still gotten up at my “walk to work time” and done a workout video instead.  How’s that going?  Right now I’m just sore.  Everywhere.  But it’s awesome.

I did sneak a rainy-run in on Saturday because I couldn’t stand to miss – what’s looking like the last real good – look at the fall colors.  It was so worth getting drenched 🙂 IMG_20141011_102543 IMG_20141011_105625And this is why Fall has my heart!

Oh! Socks! Of course! I finished the stripy pair last week.  On…Friday?  Wednesday?  I can’t remember.  Sometime after I wrote last week’s post, obviously.  IMG_20141009_060857They are super lovely.  I also started a new pair – and the stripes on it just keep surprising me…keeping me on my toes?! baahaha.  IMG_20141012_182524I’ve actually worked a lot further on them – I’m done with the foot…but I don’t have a good picture of them from that stage yet.  Also.  How do you feel about that high quality stitch marker – aka – the safety pin that was beside me when I started them… 🙂

Lastly…let’s talk about the fact that Amanda mentioned this shampoo a few weeks back in her September Favorites post and it seemed mega cool…so I ordered some…and some conditionerIMG_20141011_083053AND IT IS AWESOME.  Second.  And third.  And..eek.. fourth day hair adore it.  🙂  It’s awesome because 1 – it’s Vegan and 2 – it’s a bar…and 3 – it smells amazing.  Lovvving it.  🙂

Well…I think that’s it.  I’ll see you guys next week! 🙂

    • So glad you like them! They are turning out so great 🙂 🙂
Yes!! My hair is super long. Well…a few inches longer than my shoulders. Which I think is super long! 🙂 It works great! The only thing that I found with the conditioner was that it recommended you to rub it only in the ends of the hair – and I found that that was not enough for my hair and I rubbed it all of my hair and it was a lot better. My hair tends towards dry after being washed, though so that may be why. I really like it! My husband has the peppermint scented bar and he really likes it too 🙂
I’d love to hear what you think if you decide to try it!
