Each week Amanda [Running with Spoons] hosts Thinking Out Loud Thursday. A chance for us to do some brain-dump blogging. And to hang out with fun people.
First of all. Indy is doing excellent. Thank you all for your super duper support last week. Having a cat with a complicated medical history is not always a walk in the park – but some weeks are definitely harder (emotionally and…*erm* financially) than others. We were able to pick him up Wednesday night and he’s been 100% good as new (on a lower dose of insulin) ever since.
Well, minus the shaved leg – which just looks super silly. We’ve been joking that he just needed a vacation. A very expensive vacation.
This weekend I basically mentally crashed out. After that all happened last week, I was drained. The weather took a major dip towards Fall Winter – with early morning temperatures in the low 40’sF/5C. This led me to two main activities for the weekend:
1 – Restocking my Etsy Shop with really exciting new fall earrings 🙂
Uhm. Yeah. Fall = awesome. + Robots. ROBOTS. ROBOTS.
And…2 – Knitting. DON’T WORRY. I’m knitting Christmas Presents. I PROMISE. < It’s about to kill me, but I’m doing it. On top of that we also had a lot of tea drinking…
^ Totally getting into Fall there.
…And…Couch sitting. 🙂
Being a major introvert, my brain has to have these recharge days. After a peaceful Saturday and an almost comatose Sunday, brain power is back up to 100% 🙂
Do you get super-worn-down-feeling after emotional stress? Or do you thrive on constantly being on?
I’ll see you guys next week!
P.S. –
We should be friends! Find me on Twitter and Facebook
Note – in order to help support the costs of blogging, my site occasionally contains affiliate links. When this happens – everything costs the same for you, but I get a little income as well. Thanks!

Glad to hear that Indy is doing well! But awwwwrs at his leg! And I know exactly what you mean about needing to recharge after an emotionally trying time. I basically become a hermit for a few days…
Amanda @ .running with spoons. recently posted…. thinking out loud #97 .
Yeah! We’re glad he’s doing better too! (obviously 🙂 🙂 ) … His leg looks so pitiful. And his other one had just grown back!!!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who drops – off – the – face – of – everything when things get stressful 🙂 Happy Thursday!
